My husband’s hometown is in
Carmona, Cavite. The province of Carmona is a quiet and calm place. It is a healthy
place to live in. Most of the neighborhoods are very private. There are plenty
of establishments that you can see there such as, Walter Mart, Jollibee, Mini
Stop, 7 Eleven, banks, public market and plaza. I think Carmona is already
developed and you can find there everything you need such as, cafeteria,
canteen, gym, hardware, drug stores, and gas station. Furthermore, Carmona has
public and private cemetery. Sanctuario de Carmona is their private cemetery
which is a very clean, huge and peaceful place.

I observed that most of the residents in
Carmona belong to middle class family because most of the houses are made of cement
and stone. I even enjoyed looking at big and beautiful houses there. Plenty of
lands there have rice fields and I like seeing them, because for me the greener
the better. There were times that I preferred to stay in Carmona because fresh air
still exists in that place.

Sometimes I accompany my husband
when going to that place and we only used his motorcycle in going there. From
Pasay we took the service road in Taguig city. In Taguig, we passed by TESDA,
Libingan ng mga Bayani, DOST and Technological University of the Philippines or TUP.
After Taguig, we passed by Bicutan and then Sucat Paranaque where I can view a
mountain range. It is really a long
travel when riding in motorcyle, however, it is fun and easy to ride with. The
next city to reach after Sucat is Alabang, Muntinlupa and lastly, Binan, Laguna
which is the adjacent municipality of Carmona, Cavite. Don’t get me wrong, you can still go to
Carmona in shorter time, this is only if you ride in a bus which will pass by
the SLEX.
Cavite is a nice place to visit. It gives you a sense of nostalgia and quiet peace. I like that photo of the sunset- or is it sunrise? :)
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to visit Cavite for its historical significance. I'm not quite sure which spots in particular to go to though and if Carmona has any historical sites. One of these days I'll be sure to drop by.
ReplyDeleteThough we're living in the Philippines for so many years, it's sad that we have not traveled to a lot of provinces here--always stuck in Manila. Sometimes, I want to feel like living in a quiet and calm place, a healthier place like Carmona. But maybe I'd miss the busy life in the city fast.
ReplyDeletei didn't know that there' carmona in cavite. i thought carmona is in laguna only :) watched el presidente, btw and it showed how historical cavite is :)
ReplyDeleteRovie,
The Bargain Doll
This is near my place but I've never been here. I always love how rich cavite provinces are, in both culture and history. Life is at its simple best here.:)
ReplyDeleteCavite is now closer to Manila because of the many alternative roads. (e.g Cavitex, Slex).
ReplyDeleteI visited Cavite when I was in high school during the regional meet we called then as STRAA. Although I didn't go to Carmona and never knew the place back then, my stay in the province specifically in Kawit where the house of El Presidente was located was awesome. Missing the times.
ReplyDeleteI'm not from the Metro so I'm not really familiar with the places or provinces near Manila. Lol
ReplyDeleteCarmona is the town, and Cavite is the province.
ReplyDeleteI use to come here for team buildings in Viewfort
the resort resting on top of a hill.
lovely and quite place, this is also where I pass before arriving to GMA Cavite coming from Alabang.
I thought Carmona is in Laguna. Hehehe. Anyway, is it safe to travel by motorcycle? I want to visit Cavite but I don't know any good place to go to.
ReplyDeleteI'm just curious. How much is the toll in slex if you ride via the motorcycle? We were just there in Cavite, visiting relatives. Our toll from QC to south super highway was actually P122. :( It was sooooo expensive!
ReplyDeleteI haven't traveled to Cavite yet. I guess it'll be the next on my list to travel :)
ReplyDeleteI've been to carmona cavite alreayd I think but that's been a long time already. Can't remember now how it totally looks like! xx
ReplyDeleteYes, Carmona is a town on the rise, nakakalimutan na ang image nito na dating relocation site ng slum dwellers. Living in Muntinlupa, frequent visitor din ako dyan since my-in-laws live there.
ReplyDeleteMy mom is from Cavite,a fast growing and developing province right after Metro Manila. Carmona is one of the best place in Cavite.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to Cavite yet but I've always wanted to visit the place as I have a few friends who reside there. Perhaps will drop by and stay there for a day or two just to experience life in Cavite on my next Philippine vacation.
ReplyDeleteI can no longer recall when was the last time I went to Carmona, I just happen to go to Carmona because we have a relative there whom we visited long ago, and that time the place was purely residential, no sightings of known establishments yet.
ReplyDeleteI do pass-by Carmona whenever I go to school in Manila way back (buses go to SLEX via Carmona Exit). The place was pretty quiet and simple back then. ^_^
ReplyDeleteNot familiar w/ Carmona though, but it is sure, that it has a lot of history, because it is in Cavite.
ReplyDeletePlease post more photos of Carmona and is there any tourist destinations there?
ReplyDeleteI think Cavite is like Bulacan only that the province is in the southern part of Metro Manila. Also, most of the subdivisions and villages are based there. I just don't know much about Carmona.
ReplyDeleteI was planning to visit
ReplyDeleteCavite in holidays. Your post will help me a lot. thanks
My brother used to work in Carmona and we'll be visiting again this summer. :)
