Ospital ng Maynila is one of the
public hospitals in Manila. It is located in Quirino, near Harrizon Plaza. The
hospital offers different medical services, from dermatology to surgery. It is
free for Manilenyos and maybe for some of the citizens of the Philippines. Compare to other public hospitals, Ospital ng
Maynila has more medical equipment. It has different doctors for different
fields of medicine. They provide provides basic medicines or other medicines for their patient for free if they have stocks in the hospital.
The security in Ospital ng
Maynila is strict and of course it has advantages and disadvantages for
patients and its family and friends. Like in any other hospital they have visiting
hours for visitors. There are plenty of drug stores and food stores in front of
the hospital. Water vending machine is also present in the place. This will
ensure safe water to drink for both patients and visitors.
Ospital ng Maynila is accredited
of Philhealth and Manilenyo members and beneficiaries of Philhealth, can able
to avail air conditioned rooms. There is also DSWD in the said hospital; they
are there to give financial assistance to the needy.
Some of the doctors I encountered
are kind and industrious. They spent most of their energies and time serving
the patient. In addition, medical interns of Ospital ng Maynila are coming from
Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila or PLM.
